Activation

There are two ways to switch the OrionMeter ORN-TWM-LW868 methods to leave warehouse mode to operating mode to operating mode:

  • Magnet activation​

A magnet should be applied to the body of the device for more than 10 seconds and less than 20 seconds. Hall sensor is located near the optical sensor unit.

After that, the device is activated and enters production mode.

Recommended to use a neodymium magnet

  • Activation by water flow​

After installing the device on the water meter, it is necessary to flow at least 10 liters of water without stopping the water flow.

Upon successful calibration, the device will switch to production mode and start the procedure for connecting to the LoRaWAN network
