Discrete inputs

In discrete input mode, logic voltage signals can be connected and state changes from various devices can be registered.

The universal discrete/pulse inputs accept devices with the following output types:

  • reed switch, relay contacts, mechanical button (dry contact)

info

Contact bounce can occur when a contact is opened or closed, leading to multiple registered pulses instead of a single one.

To suppress this, set the Capture Type parameter to Combi.

  • «open drain» (diode or transistor)

When connecting electronic meters and signal sources, set the Capture Type parameter to Interrupt.

In this state, the pull-up will always be enabled, and debouncing will be disabled.

info

Devices with pulse output of type NAMUR are not supported.
